A little about us
At Your First Dance, we create routines to make your dream wedding dance come true, creating memories to last a lifetime. Whether a traditional romantic bridal dance, or something a little more upbeat, we cater for the simplest to the most extravagant first dance.

Apart from being great fun! Dance lessons are a great way to
take a break from the stress of planning your upcoming wedding. Lose yourselves as we work together to create something magical on the dance floor for your special dance. You’ll be surprised with some of the things you can achieve in such a short amount of time by learning with Your First Dance.

You really don’t need any dance experience, as we will design your first dance to suit your song choice, ability and your own personal style. We know you’re not professionals, so we will create a bespoke lesson plan to ensure your dance steps are easy to follow, while still creating the wow factor for your big day. We are here to make sure you look fabulous, feel confident, and look the most amazing a couple can for your first dance.

Our Dance School offers a large variety of dance classes for all skill levels. Our experienced instructors are passionate about helping each dancer achieve their highest potential, while also having as much fun as possible. From the first five minutes of our first lesson, I knew April was the dance teacher for us. She was so lovely, warm and approachable.

She immediately knew what we wanted to be able to achieve for our first dance, nothing staged or structured. We opted for a routine that made us look like we effortlessly knew what we were doing. April was amazing at breaking every step down and simplifying everything for us.
​
We had six lessons with April at Your First Dance and we loved every minute. It was one hour of our day once a week where we thought nothing else other than dancing, we could relax from the stresses of wedding planning and we had so much fun.

We can't thank April enough for all of our amazing lessons, all the laughs, motivational texts and being an amazing dance teacher and friend x
